Figuring Out Who You Are — Without the Pressure

The biggest question of your teen years doesn't have an answer key. Here's how to sit with not-knowing.

Figuring Out Who You Are — Without the Pressure

'Who am I?' is the question of the teen years, and it can feel like everyone expects you to have an answer — about your identity, your future, your people. The truth is, you're not supposed to have it figured out yet. You're supposed to be in the figuring-out.

Identity isn't found once and kept. It's something you try on, revise, and revise again. The version of you at 14 won't be the version at 18, and that's not instability — that's growth.

Give yourself permission to change your mind. Follow curiosity instead of certainty. You don't need a fixed self to move forward; you just need to stay honest about what's true right now.
