At Candor & Hope Therapy, we believe honest conversation is what brings healing and recovery. That belief is the heart of an independent solo practice — where every session is a step from merely surviving into genuinely thriving.

Founder & Owner
"Hi, I'm Marirhetta — Clinical Director at Candor & Hope Therapy, a private practice in Northeast Ohio."
I work with adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges — with a special focus on premarital work, women's concerns, personal growth, and healing from childhood experiences and long-standing emotional patterns.
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. Therapy is a place to slow down, gain insight, and build practical tools to regulate emotions and move forward with intention.
We meet you where you are, collaborate on clear goals, and support you through the work of healing. Together we build emotional resilience, strengthen relationships, and create sustainable change.
If you're ready to invest in yourself and your emotional health, I invite you to schedule an intake session today.

From surviving to thriving.
I am so happy I made the decision to speak with someone regarding my issues. I have found a place where I am safe to speak about my fears, anger, and issues that consume me.
She makes herself extremely relatable, [however] also did not shy away from fostering tough accountability and internal empowerment in my growth and development.
I did not expect to get so 'comfortable being uncomfortable' in such a short amount of time. Marirhetta approaches our sessions with a perfect balance of professional insight, lived-experience, and cultural relativism.
My therapist in the past taught me to depend on them; Marirhetta taught me how to 'fish' for myself. Thank you!
